As one of California’s only oceanside wine tasting destinations, it invites guests to slow down and linger—enjoying thoughtfully curated lunch offerings, exceptional wines, and relaxed moments indoors or at  outdoor tables overlooking the water.

Paso Robles Tasting Room

Situated on our estate vineyard, the Paso Robles Tasting Room offers an intimate setting designed to reflect the land it inhabits. A wrap-around bar and warm wood seating invite relaxed tasting year-round, while expansive windows frame rolling oak-studded hills, vineyards, and glimpses of the Salinas River. Outdoors, a shaded patio beneath old-growth olive trees offers a front-row seat to the rhythms of our sustainably farmed estate.

 Indulge in a tasting experience and explore the character of our Central California wines. Guests are invited to enjoy a thoughtfully curated flight of five wines, with a selection of tasting options available at the tasting room, each highlighting distinctive expressions from our portfolio. As you savor each pour, learn about our winemaking philosophy, the vineyards that shape our wines, and the craftsmanship behind every bottle. The tasting fee is waived with the purchase of two bottles.

Step into the Paso Robles estate and uncover the story behind every grape at Saunders Vineyard. Enjoy an intimate guided tour of the vineyard, explore our scenic slopes and clay-loam soils, and learn about the meticulous care that goes into growing the premium varietals that define Hearst Ranch Winery. The tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at our vineyard, winery, and production facilities, and concludes with a tasting of wines, allowing guests to savor the flavors that reflect the essence of our land. Guest capacity: up to 7 guests per tour. Subject to weather and availability.

The patio Experience

With panoramic ocean views, the patio offers a private and idyllic setting for your large group gathering. In this guided two hour tasting, you will sample five of our current release Hearst Ranch wines while learning about our history and winemaking practices.  Children allowed, but must remain seated with the group at all times. Guest capacity: up to 12 guests per reservation.
